This is a builder DIY Budget Sway Bar Kit designed to offer the most value without breaking the bank. We sell these as a DIY Kit allowing you to source the Torsion Bar, Adjustable Link and DOM Tube. However, if you would like it as a complete Kit we offer individual parts as an option, parts outlined in red are not available in the DIY Kit
This bar is designed to work with a factory GM front suspension torsion bar typically 1.27” OD.
The bushings will fit a chunk of 2” .120 DOM Tube, the GM torsion bar will ride inside the chunk of 2" DOM, this is a nice safety feature if the bar ever fails it will not be able to flail around, possibly wrecking other items on the rig
They are made from a high strength Maintenance free Delrin composite material
The links that run from the sway bar arms are a typical 3 point hitch Adjustable Link, and can be found at any AG supply store. They are a great setup, if the Sway Bar ends up getting tweaked the link can be adjusted so the vehicle will still sit level.
DIY kit includes, (items not circled in red )
X2 Delrin bushings X4 sway bar arms (unwelded), 20" Length center of mounting hole to center of mounting hole X4 axle tabs X2 mounting tabs for 2" tube X2 lock collars 1' of 1" tube to use as sway bar am gusset
Additional parts that will be required to complete the kit, (circled in red) these are available for purchase or you are welcome to source them yourself x1 GM front torsion bar, 1.27" OD (add $195 to DIY kit)- **At this time we do not have stock on GM Torsion Bars**
