This is the seal retainer found in all 5 Ton Steering Axles, it is located inside the axle tube on the outside end near the joint of the axle shaft. It holds the Axle Seal and the Axle Thrust Washer,

- 1 Retainer
- 1 Thrust Washer
- 1 Axle Seal
Note all Axle Shafts use the same inner Axle Seal, EXCEPT A2 Series U-Joint Axle Shafts, these are found in newer 5 Ton Steer Axle with CTIS, if you have a U-Joint Axle you will need to verify there is an extra lip next to the axle yoke where the seal rides, see attached picture.
Note- These are installed and held in place with a press fit and can be removed by pounding them out with a long drift from the other side of the axle tube or with a blind hole puller and slide hammer
